Vutsov steps into Levski fray

Velislav Vutsov is the new coach of deposed Bulgarian champions Levski (Sofia) following the dismissal of Stanimir Stoilov on Wednesday. The 41-year-old Vutsov has left his position as technical director of second division Kaliakra (Kavarna) and will make his Levski debut on Saturday in the derby at arch-rivals CSKA (Sofia).

Vutsov is the son of former Bulgaria and Levski coach Ivan Vutsov. He started his career in the youth ranks at Levski before going on to play for a number of local clubs. As a coach he has been in charge of Spartak (Varna), Spartak (Pleven), Cherno More (Varna), Marek (Dupnitsa) and Kaliakra (Kavarna).
