State Championship (Darzhavno parvenstvo) 1924-1937
In the State Championship are participating the clubs which are first in the
sport districts.
During this period the State Cup was awarded to the winner of the championship.
1924:
Preliminary round:Levski (Sofia) - Chernomorets (Burgas) 7:0
Orel (Vratsa) - Krakra (Pernik) 1:0
1/2 finals:Pobeda (Plovdiv) - Orel (Vratsa) 5:0
Vladislav (Varna) - Levski (Sofia) 0:0; - *
* - There should have been a replay between Levski and Vladislav but it wasn't
played, because of misunderstanding between the football union and Vladislav.
Due to this the championship was abandoned and there wasn't a winner.

* - The assigned referee didn't show up for the match and Vladislav refused
to play. As a result of this the title was awarded to Slavia. But Vladislav
appealed against the decision and the game was resheduled for the spring of
1927. But now Slavia refused to play so the title was awarded to Vladislav.

1928:
Note: There were only 5 participants this year, because the rest of
the sport districts didin't finish their competitions in time.

* - Abandoned at 1:2. The Shipchenski sokol players left the pitch after the
referee refused to send off an AS 23 player who injured an opponent. As a result
of that the title was awarded to AS 23 but they didn't recieve the cup since
final game was awarded.
