Bulgarian A RFG, Season 1971-1972

Note: - Before the season ZhSK-Slavia (Sofia) dissolves. In its place are formed again the clubs that initially formed it - Lokomotiv (Sofia) and Slavia (Sofia). As a result of this the group expanded to 17 teams and it was decided that Chernomorets (Burgas), which was due to be relegated, will remain in the group. By so the A RFG is expanded to 18 teams. Note: - In the table below the result given above is the result in the fall period and the one below - the result from the spring period.
